Description:
The Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps team at Tapcheck is expanding and is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with strong expertise in Azure.
The role involves planning, implementing, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure while aligning applications with Microsoft’s Well Architected Framework.
Responsibilities include monitoring the production environment to ensure optimal performance, designing and enhancing cloud-based infrastructure solutions on Azure, and architecting robust disaster recovery strategies.
The engineer will measure and optimize system performance, provide operational support for large-scale distributed software applications, and balance feature development speed with reliability.
Collaboration with engineering teams to design and build scalable products is essential, along with establishing effective monitoring and alerting systems.
Security and compliance of cloud-based infrastructure solutions must be ensured, and documentation of design decisions and processes is required.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps with a strong focus on Azure.
A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation is required.
Proficiency in high-level programming languages, including Python, Java, C/C++, Ruby, and JavaScript, for at least 5 years is necessary.
Experience with container platforms like Docker and LXC, as well as resource management frameworks such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker Swarm, for 4+ years is expected.
Candidates should be proactive in identifying problems and performance bottlenecks.
A strong understanding of networking and security principles is essential.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Experience in fintech (payroll, payments, ecommerce, etc.) is preferred.
Experience in building secure and reliable environments for high volume traffic applications is also preferred.
AZ-400 Certification or SC-100 Certification is preferred.
