Responsibilities include performance analysis, software engineering, infrastructure modifications, predictive failure analysis, authoring new tools, collaborating with engineering teams, database administration, and incident response.
The role involves working on both physical and cloud-based systems to ensure a safe and engaging online experience for 600 million users.

Requirements:

A STEM degree and relevant experience as a Site Reliability Engineer are required.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and high proficiency in languages like C, C++, Java, Python, or Go are necessary.
Strong Unix/Linux environment knowledge, networking expertise, database administration experience, and familiarity with DevOps tools like Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes are essential.
On-call reporting and monitoring of core website functions are part of the responsibilities.
