Description:
Fetch is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the shopping experience for millions of users through their Rewards App.
The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team focuses on building and running distributed, fault-tolerant systems at scale, ensuring reliability and uptime for both external and internal services.
The role involves optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure, and automating processes to eliminate manual work.

Responsibilities include engaging in the entire service lifecycle, supporting services pre-launch, maintaining live services, scaling systems sustainably, participating in incident response, and mentoring engineers.
Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a software development-oriented role such as Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer is required.
Proficiency in one or more high-level programming languages, including Java, Python, Go, or C/C++, is necessary.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, is required.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
Candidates should have experience building CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system internals and networking.
The ability to analyze and troubleshoot systems, as well as monitor and support microservice architectures, is essential.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
