Remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer | Platform Engineering

Description:

• Wellhub (formerly Gympass) is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team in Brazil.
• The Platform Engineering team focuses on building tooling and automation to enhance the reliability and efficiency of the Wellhub technology stack.
• The role involves working on a multi-services cloud native platform on Kubernetes on AWS.
• Responsibilities include developing and evolving Kubernetes operators, ensuring security and compliance, improving observability and cost awareness, and maintaining CI/CD tools.
• The position also involves contributing to product documentation, defining standards and best practices, and promoting wellbeing within the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
• Technical experience with AWS cloud services and software engineering.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
• Experience with operator managed Infrastructure as Code, preferably Crossplane.
• Ability to write software for production environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaboration and learning-driven mindset.
• CNCF Kubernetes Certifications (e.g. CKA, CKS, or CKAD).
• AWS Certifications.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
