Description:

The Infrastructure department is responsible for influencing and tracking change, providing frontline support, and delivering software-defined solutions.
The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will manage large-scale systems, automate infrastructure, and ensure seamless service reliability.
The role involves overseeing a global infrastructure of approximately 10,000 on-prem servers, tackling unique technical challenges, engineering scalable systems, and impacting the reliability and performance of products.
Main responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining highly available, scalable systems; creating and optimizing automation workflows; building monitoring and alerting systems; troubleshooting and resolving critical issues; and collaborating with QoS and operations teams to enhance reliability and drive technical excellence.

Requirements:

Good knowledge of Linux systems, particularly Debian-based distributions, is required.
Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as SaltStack, Ansible, or similar solutions is necessary.
Proficiency in Python for building automation scripts and tools is essential.
Experience with monitoring tools and frameworks to enhance system observability is required.
A solid understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and concepts is necessary.
Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot complex systems effectively is required.
