Remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

• As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining the infrastructure.
• You will lead initiatives to improve the reliability and scalability of services, collaborating with development, product, and security teams.
• Your role includes establishing best practices, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining systems for reliability, implementing CI/CD tools, developing monitoring strategies, conducting root cause analysis, and optimizing system performance.
• You will work closely with various teams to integrate reliability practices and communicate updates on reliability metrics and incidents.
• Staying updated on industry trends and continuously improving existing systems and processes will be part of your role.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• You must have 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
• A strong understanding of reliability engineering principles, practices, and tools is essential.
• Proficiency in monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios is required.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker) is necessary.
• You should be proficient in scripting and automation tools like Python, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead teams, are required.

Benefits:

• The minimum full-time salary for this position is $198,000-$220,000, in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law.
