Description:

Career Renew is recruiting for a Senior Smart Contract Engineer for a fully remote role, requiring candidates to be based in EMEA/APAC regions.
The company is focused on building cross-chain infrastructure to enable multiple blockchains to co-exist and serve different needs.
The role involves collaborating with team members to expand the smart contract codebase and maintain production contracts across more than 30 EVM networks and Solana.
The engineer will ensure the security, efficiency, and seamless integration of smart contracts.
Responsibilities include contributing to the development, deployment, and configuration of over 500 production smart contracts, supporting expansion into new ecosystems, and applying industry best practices.
The engineer will also drive innovation by researching emerging technologies and creating tools to improve task execution efficiency.
The position reports directly to the Smart Contract Lead.

Requirements:

Candidates must have over 6 years of solid software development experience with a focus on Solidity.
Proficiency in YUL/Assembly and experience deploying smart contracts across multiple EVM networks is required.
A minimum of 3 years of solid experience in TypeScript is necessary.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of production experience with one or more non-EVM smart contract ecosystems, such as Cosmos, Aptos, or TON.
Experience working with or for a major DeFi protocol, particularly a bridge or cross-chain protocol, is considered a plus.

Annual team off-sites are organized, with previous locations including Thailand and Vietnam.
An annual personal development budget of 1000€ is provided after 6 months of employment, pro-rated for the first year.
A one-time remote budget of 1000€ is available for co-working or office setup.
Initial equity allocations are granted after 6 months of employment.
