Description:

Ondo Finance is seeking a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to develop and optimize smart contracts for Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization.
The role involves designing and implementing secure, efficient, and scalable smart contract solutions across various blockchain ecosystems.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product, legal, and compliance, is essential to ensure contracts meet regulatory standards.
The engineer will address complex challenges related to asset tokenization, security, novel token bridging solutions, and DeFi interoperability.
This position plays a crucial role in expanding Ondo’s product suite and promoting blockchain adoption by traditional financial institutions.
The engineer will also drive the development of new chain deployments and DeFi protocols for Ondo Finance.

Requirements:

Candidates must be based in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones.
Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is necessary.
A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience is required.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in blockchain engineering, preferably with a DeFi protocol live on multiple chains.
Strong competency in Solidity and other non-EVM smart contract languages is essential.
Proven experience in building and scaling a DeFi protocol is required.
Candidates must demonstrate strong technical understanding and excellent judgment in task prioritization.
A commitment to understanding the "why" behind requirements and defining the "minimum scope" is crucial.
