As a Senior Software Architect, you will deliver robust solutions for complex and large-scale software systems.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software solutions.
Your role includes driving technical feasibility analysis for projects to identify and mitigate technical risks.
You will select appropriate technologies and frameworks to drive innovation and shape the overall architecture.
You will lead and mentor engineering teams throughout the development process to ensure successful implementation of architectural design.
You will define the strategic architecture vision to align software architecture with the organization’s technology strategy.
Daily tasks include collaborating with product and engineering teams, assessing technical feasibility, designing for non-functional requirements, estimating resources, reviewing design proposals, producing technical documentation, researching new software, defining best practices, and providing technical mentoring.
Requirements:
You must have solid experience in designing large-scale, web-based software products and collaborating with a team for development and deployment.
Experience in developing and deploying complex systems in Azure or another public cloud provider is required.
Familiarity with the technology stack including Kubernetes, Docker, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Avro, JavaScript, MySQL, and Gradle is essential.
Prior experience with high-throughput healthcare information systems using HL7 or FHIR, or analogous integrations in other domains is necessary.
You should be able to manage system complexity through modularization and maintainable boundaries between components.
Exceptional analytical, planning, and diagnostic abilities are required.
Active listening skills and clear communication in speaking, writing, and diagramming are essential.
Strong interpersonal skills to build consensus and promote understanding of architectural strategy are necessary.
You must recognize and apply object-oriented design principles, software design patterns, and architectural patterns.
The ability to couple new research and data with experience to find innovative yet pragmatic solutions is important.
Benefits:
The base salary for this position ranges from $162,000 to $181,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
The total rewards package includes various components beyond base salary.
Individual compensation is determined by job-related skills, knowledge, relevant experience, and work location.
