Token Metrics is seeking an exceptional Senior Software Architect to lead the evolution of their analytics platform and trading bot.
This key role will be instrumental in scaling the infrastructure to support millions of users globally while ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Responsibilities include conducting a comprehensive review of the current architecture, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
The architect will design and oversee the implementation of scalable solutions to support millions of global users.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives is essential.
The role involves providing technical leadership and mentorship to the development team.
Staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommending innovative solutions is expected.
Ensuring the security and reliability of Token Metrics' platforms at scale is a critical responsibility.
The architect will develop and maintain architectural documentation and standards.
Strategies to significantly reduce the number of bugs in the platform will be implemented.
Enhancing the quality assurance process to improve the reliability of engineering output is also part of the role.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a senior architectural role.
Expert-level knowledge of system design and architecture principles is necessary.
Proven experience in scaling applications to support millions of users is essential.
A deep understanding of OLAP and OLTP databases, with specific experience in Snowflake, is required.
Proficiency in modern web technologies and frameworks, including Next.js, Supabase, Tailwind, and Shadcn, is necessary.
A strong background in cloud computing and distributed systems is required.
Relevant certifications, such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, are preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically are essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are required.
Extensive experience in implementing bug reduction strategies and improving software quality is necessary.
