Description:

• Octopus by Robusta Technology Group (RTG) is seeking a remote Senior Software Backend Engineer specializing in .NET for a top retail company in KSA.
• As a Backend Engineer, you will work on various products, including websites and enterprise platforms.
• You will be responsible for building the engine that powers the entire product as part of a cross-functional team focused on delivery.
• Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining .NET applications according to specifications.
• You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand project scope.
• Writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards is essential.
• You will perform thorough testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues, along with providing timely resolutions, will be part of your role.
• Continuous research and evaluation of new technologies to enhance software functionality and performance is expected.
• Documenting software designs, code, and technical specifications is required.
• You will participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback.
• Working collaboratively in an Agile environment, you will actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to their professional growth is also part of your responsibilities.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience using .NET with a strong command of C# and VB.NET is necessary.
• Proficiency in .NET 8 and the ability to handle complex tasks is essential.
• A Microsoft certification is a must.
• Solid knowledge of Azure and proven expertise in cloud technologies is required.
• Proficiency in .NET Core, with a focus on microservices architecture, is necessary.
• Experience with DevOps practices, particularly within the Azure ecosystem, is required.
• Strong integration experience, including working with APIs, RESTful services, and OData, is essential.
