Description:

  • As a Senior Software Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions that drive strategic decision-making.
  • You will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create efficient data architectures.
  • This position requires a deep technical background, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for transforming raw data into valuable insights.
  • You will develop and maintain robust data pipelines to process and analyze large datasets efficiently.
  • You will design scalable data architectures, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders across different teams to evaluate business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • You will implement and refine data integrity tests to maintain high-quality data standards.
  • You will stay current with emerging technologies, continuously improving data infrastructure and methodologies.
  • You will own and operate data products, ensuring seamless functionality and usability.

Requirements:

  • You must have extensive experience with distributed query engines and SQL-based data processing.
  • Proficiency in SQL composition frameworks such as dbt or SQLMesh is required.
  • Strong Python programming skills for data engineering tasks are necessary.
  • You should have experience designing and building data pipelines with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to collaborate across remote teams and time zones.
  • You must have a proven ability to stay ahead of industry trends and implement innovative solutions.
  • A track record of continuous learning and professional growth is expected.
