• The role is for a Senior Software Design Engineer focused on Customer Solutions, working remotely in the United States.
• The engineer will design, build, and ship bespoke features and integrations for top customers, ensuring they maximize their use of Mattermost.
• Responsibilities include building custom software solutions primarily using Go and SQL, driving complex deployments, providing deployment and upgrade guidance, and continuously improving deployment processes.
• The engineer will collaborate with other engineering and product teams and assist Customer Success and Support teams with troubleshooting and incident response.
• The position requires a strong ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and to own projects end to end.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in designing and developing software using Go, SQL, and Typescript/React is required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for effective collaboration with customers and internal teams.
• Familiarity with database performance analysis is necessary.
• Candidates must understand the challenges of deploying high availability installations of enterprise software that supports large numbers of users.
• A deep understanding of infrastructure and networking concepts is required, along with the ability to design and troubleshoot complex deployments.

Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is $127,000 - $170,000 per year.
