fabric is a next-generation commerce platform aimed at revolutionizing the commerce industry.
The company is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join the Agentic Apps Team.
The role involves designing, building, and launching full-stack Shopify apps from prototype to production.
Responsibilities include leading development using Shopify APIs, Liquid, and app extensions, building UI components with React, and backend services using Node.js and Python.
The engineer will create AI-enhanced workflows to simplify and automate merchant tasks and will be responsible for the performance, scalability, accessibility, and maintainability of their code.
The position requires setting up and maintaining CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting, as well as solving complex issues across distributed systems and integrations.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with a strong focus on Shopify app development.
A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end Shopify focused projects from initial concept to launch to scale is required.
Expertise in modern front-end frameworks (React) and backend technologies (Node.js, Python) is necessary.
Deep knowledge of Shopify’s ecosystem, including GraphQL, REST APIs, Liquid, and Shopify App extensions is essential.
Proficiency in rapid prototyping tools (Figma, Bolt, Cursor, etc.) and experience in translating designs into production-ready applications is needed.
A strong grasp of cloud platforms (AWS) and experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is required.
Experience in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and AWS is necessary.
Candidates must be clear communicators who value clean design, great user experiences, and can operate under ambiguity.

The position offers competitive compensation packages with an annual salary range of $150k to $200k USD.
