Description:
As a Senior Software Developer at Orium, you will tackle technical challenges and deliver impactful solutions for high-profile enterprise clients.
You will lead front-end development for eCommerce projects within an Agile framework, leveraging composable commerce architecture and a design system.
Your role will involve integrating third-party eCommerce components to create seamless, functional solutions.
You will support and mentor developers in designing and implementing project work, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Collaboration with designers and the Product Manager will be essential to prioritize, estimate, and plan work, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
You will maintain transparency by proactively updating stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and decision-making rationale.
Creating and maintaining technical documentation and diagrams to communicate design solutions with stakeholders and clients will be part of your responsibilities.
Engaging with clients to gather requirements, provide regular project updates, and address concerns or questions in a timely manner is expected.
You will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
Participation in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to maintain high code quality and consistency across the team, is required.
Being bilingual in English and Spanish is considered an asset.
Requirements:
You must have 5+ years of industry experience as a full-stack JavaScript developer, with expertise in both front-end and back-end development.
Experience in eCommerce or retail POS/OMS systems technology is required.
Strong proficiency in modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, GraphQL, Next.js, Node.js, Chakra UI, React Query, and TypeScript is necessary.
An understanding of responsive design, particularly the differences and challenges in developing for mobile versus desktop, is essential.
Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, are required.

The Canada Base Salary Range for this role is $110,000 - $130,000 CAD, depending on your experience, excluding benefits or equity that might exist in your total compensation package.
