Modern Campus is seeking a highly innovative, collaborative, and passionate Senior Software Developer, Integrations to join their team.
The role involves maintaining existing Lifelong Learning products and solutions related to 3rd party data integration.
The ideal candidate will work with APIs, transform data, and collaborate within a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities include developing data integration solutions, working closely with RESTful and SOAP APIs, and building secure and scalable end-to-end solutions.
The developer will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment.
The role also involves project planning, estimating, and process improvements in an Agile environment.
Additional tasks include developing new features, enhancing existing features, fixing bugs, and upgrading software to maintain technical health.
The candidate is expected to adhere to best practices through experience or experimentation.

Requirements:

A diploma or degree in Computer Sciences, IT, or a related field, along with relevant development experience as a software developer is required.
Candidates must have 8+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience in developing solutions that consume APIs and transform data is essential.
Familiarity with technologies such as Java, Apache Camel, Cold Fusion, and various databases including Oracle, MS SQL, and NoSQL (DynamoDB preferred) is necessary.
Proficiency in working with RESTful and SOAP APIs, XML, XSL translations, and JSON is required.
Experience with automated testing technologies such as Junit is preferred.
Exposure to Higher Ed ERP solutions like Ellucian Banner/Colleague and PeopleSoft is a plus.
Familiarity with technical management tools such as Jira, Git, and SVN is expected.
Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves collaboration with development peers and cross-functional roles.

The salary range for this full-time position is between $80,000 - $140,000.
