Description:

Loopio is seeking a passionate and endlessly curious Senior Software Developer to join their team.
The role involves leading and rapidly building end-to-end features from scratch for Loopio’s web platform.
You will proactively build technology to prevent bugs and ensure a user-centric experience by gathering detailed feedback from customers.
Collaboration with Product Managers and Product Designers in an agile environment is essential to bring features to life and iterate based on customer feedback.
Mentoring and coaching other engineers, providing technical guidance, and fostering an environment of knowledge-sharing is expected.
The position requires leading technical design discussions and facilitating technical decision-making.
The working hours are from 11 am to 7:30 pm IST to accommodate collaboration with teams across Canada, the UK, and India.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong experience in backend/API development using PHP, Python, or Java is required.
Experience in frontend development with a solid understanding of React and JavaScript is necessary.
A strong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL is essential.
Proficiency in using and designing RESTful APIs is required.
Candidates should have experience in mentoring other engineers through coaching and code reviews.
Comfort in guiding technical design discussions and facilitating technical decision-making is expected.
A growing passion for driving processes and improving software development productivity is important.
Experience with Typescript, AWS, Cypress, Elasticsearch, and integration with third-party apps is a plus.
