Remote Senior Software Developer

Description:

• Develop cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform to reduce costs for colleges, universities, and healthcare institutions
• Implement microservice-based platform architecture
• Support and maintain web applications, web services, and microservices while troubleshooting issues and recommending improvements
• Collaborate with product teams during system design to determine needs and plan solutions
• Work with a team of developers to build scalable applications that standardize information flow, increase operational capacity, and manage big data

Requirements:

• Four-year computer science or engineering degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years full-stack development experience
• 3+ years microservice development experience
• Proficiency in .Net Core using C#, JavaScript, Angular2 (or above), HTML, CSS (Sass/Bootstrap preferred), Dapper, ASP.Net Core Web API, SQL Server, and unit testing
• Exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, and superior problem-solving skills
• Ability to take ownership of microservices quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Strong technical and business acumen with excellent communication skills
• Experience in developing web applications and relational database software
• Willingness to become an agile generalist by experiencing all phases of software development from design to implementation
