Description:

Loopio is seeking a passionate and endlessly curious Senior Software Developer to join their team.
The role involves working cross-functionally with Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and Machine Learning engineers to deliver new AI features.
The position requires close collaboration with teams across Canada, the UK, and India, with working hours from 11 am - 7:30 pm IST.
Responsibilities include leading and building end-to-end features for Loopio’s web platform, ensuring high code quality, gathering customer feedback, and collaborating in an agile environment.
The candidate will mentor and coach other engineers, provide technical guidance, and lead technical design discussions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong experience in backend/API development using PHP, Python, or Java is required.
Experience in frontend development with a solid understanding of React and Javascript is necessary.
A strong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL is essential.
Proficiency in using and designing RESTful APIs is required.
Candidates should have experience mentoring other engineers through coaching and code reviews.
A growing passion for improving software development productivity is important.
Experience with Typescript, AWS, Cypress, Elasticsearch, and integration with third-party apps is a plus.
Familiarity with Machine Learning technology is considered a bonus.
