Remote Senior Software Developer (Connections)

Description:

• The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for leading and rapidly building end-to-end features for Loopio’s web platform.
• They will proactively build features, implement tests to prevent bugs, and gather detailed feedback from customers to create a user-centric experience.
• The role involves planning and developing integrations, leading technical design discussions, and mentoring developers on the team.
• Collaboration with Product Managers and Designers in an agile environment to bring features to life and contribute to the transition of the application to a service-based architecture.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of back-end development using languages like PHP, Python, or Java (PHP preferred) with a good grasp of Object Orientation Programming.
• Familiarity with Design patterns, SOLID principles, and designing RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of testing best practices, RDBMS such as MySQL, and front-end frameworks like React or Vue.
• Experience with agile development, mentorship, and guiding technical design discussions.
• Knowledge of AWS, Monolithic and Microservice Architecture, Cypress, Elasticsearch, and Codeception is a plus.
