Description:
- The company is seeking a senior software developer and architect with over 5 years of experience to contribute to the design and development of new and existing systems.
- The role involves taking ownership of software components from design to production.
- Responsibilities include working on python-based web applications and desktop offerings, collaborating with a small team daily, participating in code reviews, and managing project priorities and deadlines.
- The position requires designing and implementing solutions, writing clean and scalable code, and being involved in key decisions for new features.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python with at least 5 years of experience.
- Full-stack development experience in web applications, RESTful APIs, and front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, AJAX, JQuery, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in SQLAlchemy, Git, and experience with database technologies such as Postgres, Redis, MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Bash, Linux development, container orchestration, scaling, and Docker.
- Experience in web application security, Flask, or Django.
- Keen sense of ownership, motivation, and quick learning ability.
- Ways to stand out include experience with React, CI/CD, database replication, load balancing, FastAPI, public git projects, build systems, client-side data visualization libraries, and Kubernetes.
