Description:

WorkMotion is seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated, and collaborative Senior Software Developer to join their Engineering Team.
The role involves architecting and developing scalable full-stack applications using React and Java microservices.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining RESTful APIs to connect frontend and backend systems.
The developer will optimize system performance for both frontend (React) and backend (Java) to ensure scalability and speed.
Collaboration with Design/UX teams is essential to create responsive, modern user interfaces.
The position also includes mentoring junior engineers and conducting code reviews to drive best practices.
Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across the full stack to ensure high availability is a key part of the role.
Applicants must be based within 2 hours of the Central European Timezone.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of professional development experience, with at least 4+ years in Java and React.
Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, Redux, and CSS3 for modern, responsive UIs is required.
In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture is essential.
Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, along with a collaborative mindset, are required.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
Desirable qualifications include experience with AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes, familiarity with Salesforce APIs, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub or JIRA, and experience with headless CMS (e.g., Contentful).
