The company specializes in Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and tracks specific data elements at scale through its Qostodian platform.
The Senior Software Developer (Go) will develop highly efficient libraries for Windows, macOS, and Linux applications, both on desktop and in the cloud.
Responsibilities include integrating embedded machine learning models into application code and collaborating with stakeholders to define milestones and ensure timelines align with development needs.
The role involves participating in discussions on technological choices, product development from initial idea to deployment, writing well-designed code, performing unit and integrated tests, and resolving anomalies and problems as they arise.
The developer will optimize applications for performance, stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices, empower team members, and help onboard and train colleagues.
Effective communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience with Go.
Experience in unit testing and integration testing is required.
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent professional experience, is necessary.
Preference will be given to candidates residing in Quebec.
Experience with C/C++ or other object-oriented languages such as C# or Java is a plus.
Knowledge of system programming, including memory management, multithreading, software optimization, and garbage collection, is desirable.
Experience integrating embedded machine learning models for on-device inference is a nice to have.
Bilingual candidates (French and English) are preferred.
Experience working in a startup environment is advantageous.
