Join Jane, a remote-first company dedicated to simplifying the lives of healthcare practitioners and patients.
As a Senior Software Developer in Test, you will expand the Quality Foundations team and help shape the next generation of Jane’s quality program.
You will develop tools that support value stream teams at all levels of the testing pyramid, focusing on enhancing the Performance Lab offering.
Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks that empower teams to manage testing within their own domains.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into the software development lifecycle.
Act as a subject matter expert on testing best practices, mentoring junior SDETs and developers.
Proactively identify gaps in the testing process and enhance test efficiency and reliability through continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Experience with Ruby on Rails is preferred, but applicants with experience in Java, C#, Python, and Go are also welcome.
Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript is required.
Experience with code-based browser automation tools such as Selenium, Protractor, WDIO, or Cypress is necessary.
Familiarity with performance testing tools like Jmeter or equivalent (e.g., Locust) is required.
Knowledge of Datadog is a plus, as it is useful and relatively hard to train.
CICD experience is desirable but not mandatory.

The role offers a minimum annual salary of $123,600 and a maximum of $193,000, with a starting salary of $146,700 for fully accomplished candidates.
