Description:
Vidyard is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Developer Platform team.
The role involves collaborating with developers, a product manager, and an Engineering Manager to enhance the developer experience.
Responsibilities include optimizing core infrastructure, managing Kubernetes clusters, implementing observability tools, contributing to codebases, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring infrastructure, adhering to industry standards, and focusing on security.
The ideal candidate will be an infrastructure expert, a developer experience advocate, a pragmatic visionary, decisive in ambiguity, a communication champion, collaborative, a quality leader, lean & experimental, and a mentor.
Bonus points for past experience at a SaaS Product Led Growth company or AI experience.
Technical skills required include knowledge of container orchestration platforms, Kubernetes ecosystem tooling, Infrastructure as Code tooling, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, modern front-end stacks, server technologies, relational databases, distributed computing concerns, and APIs.
Requirements:
Must have expertise in containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
Should excel in crafting tools for engineers with a focus on simplicity and ease-of-use.
Must be able to make decisions in uncertain situations and communicate effectively.
Collaboration with product teams to align infrastructure with business needs is essential.
Strong emphasis on uplifting standards in quality, reliability, and performance.
Metrics-driven approach and willingness to experiment are required.
Experience with SaaS Product Led Growth companies or AI is a plus.
