Wealthsimple is seeking talented Full Stack and Front-end Software Developers to join their product engineering teams.

The tech stack includes front-end UI libraries written in React or React Native, event-driven design with Kafka, and GraphQL APIs.

The company follows best practices for profiling, logging, tracing, tracking, and experimenting.
Developers will have access to a Redshift-based data warehouse for building feedback loops between shipped features and their impact.
The role involves exposure to a microservice architecture with over 100 services, including Ruby on Rails, Java/Kotlin, and NodeJS.
Requirements:
Candidates must have proven experience as a Full Stack or Front-end Software Developer.
Experience with key technologies is required: Front-end developers should be proficient in React and TypeScript, while Full Stack developers should have experience with React, TypeScript, and Ruby on Rails.
A deep care and focus on operational excellence is essential.
An inquisitive mindset with a desire to learn new skills and remain open to new ideas is necessary.
Proactive communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with designers, product managers, and other team members are required.
Experience in mentoring fellow developers through pairing, code review, and feedback is important.
Familiarity with GraphQL (Apollo) and performance optimization is a plus.
