Zipdev is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer with experience in Python and JavaScript, specifically with Vercel and Node.js frameworks.
The role requires a demonstrated interest in AI technologies.
The candidate will work independently and in a team on various projects, handling everything from project architecture to deployment.
Responsibilities include leading full-cycle software development (SDLC), gathering requirements from stakeholders, and designing and developing custom software solutions.
The candidate will automate internal processes and build custom dashboards.
Writing clean, scalable, and testable code to ensure high performance is essential.
Conducting software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for existing systems is part of the role.
The candidate will document technical requirements and maintain project documentation.
Deploying software and incorporating user feedback for continuous improvement is expected.
Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and incorporating best practices is crucial.
The use of generative AI and similar technologies to enhance productivity is encouraged.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should embody the concept of an "A-player" with at least a 90% chance of achieving top outcomes.
Fluent English speaking and writing skills are required.
Proven experience of 5+ years in building production-level software is necessary.
Extensive experience in Python and JavaScript, particularly with Vercel and Node.js frameworks, is essential.
A strong interest and experience in AI technologies are required.
The candidate must have a proven ability to architect and build software solutions from scratch.
Experience in automating processes and creating interactive applications is necessary.
Excellent knowledge of relational databases and test-driven development is required.
Proficiency in software engineering tools and documenting requirements/specifications is essential.
The ability to independently manage deadlines, projects, and deliverables without close supervision is necessary.
Strong communication skills and initiative in providing regular updates and progress reports are required.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field is necessary.
The candidate must currently reside in Latin America.

The position offers remote work from Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours a week with no weekend work.
