Gluo, an Orium Company, is a leading eCommerce agency with over 20 years in the market, specializing in Headless and Composable Commerce.
The company is remote-based in Mexico and has a team of over 100 professionals.
The position is a 9-12 month fixed-term contract for a React Native Mobile Developer.
The role involves developing, optimizing, and extending a mobile commerce accelerator platform for various enterprise clients.
Responsibilities include collaborating with team members, developing reusable React Native components, building connectors for API integration, and establishing coding standards.
The developer will implement tools to enhance app performance, conduct testing and debugging, design customizable templates, and support cross-platform development.
Clear documentation and knowledge transfer within the organization are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in mobile development, with at least 2 years specifically in React Native.
Preferred experience in developing e-commerce or consumer-focused mobile applications is required.
Strong proficiency in React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, and performance optimization techniques is essential.
Experience in building and integrating backend APIs, ideally with TypeScript and frameworks like Node.js or Express, is necessary.
Familiarity with cloud deployment environments such as AWS or GCP is preferred.
Knowledge of developer tools and UI libraries, preferably Expo and React Native Paper, is required.
Proficiency in state management tools like React Query or Redux, and experience with REST APIs and GraphQL is needed.
Experience with mobile testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox, and Appium is important.
Familiarity with native iOS and Android development environments (Xcode, Android Studio) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills are essential for collaboration.
Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, is required.
