• The Senior Software Developer position at Common App involves designing and developing web-based and mobile software products for the organization.
• The role reports to the Director of Software Development and collaborates with a team of developers.
• Responsibilities include software architecture design, implementation of high-quality software products using .NET technologies, and working within an Agile development environment.
• The position involves planning, developing, modifying, and testing software components to create new products and enhance existing systems.
• The Senior Software Developer will also assist in managing the production system to ensure quality and may provide guidance to other Software Developers.

Requirements:

• Candidates must reside in the United States.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field, or equivalent education and experience is required.
• 5-8 years of experience in software development is necessary.
• Proficiency in Angular.js 2+, Typescript, Microsoft .Net Core 2.0+, C#, Visual Studio IDE, ORM, HTML5, CSS3, Micro Service Oriented Architecture using Web API is essential.
• Strong skills in managing state in Angular 2+ Applications and SQL queries and stored procedures are required.
• Proficiency in all components of the development process, including Code repository (GitHub), Code review, Coding standards, and Code deployment is necessary.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 security vulnerabilities and secure coding practices is a must.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills are required.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential.
• Ideal candidates will have experience with AWS Cloud Services, NGRX, Ionic, CI/CD automation cloud, and possess NET or AWS certification.
