Description:
The Senior Software Developer position at Common App involves designing and developing web-based and mobile software products for the organization.
The role reports to the Director of Software Development and collaborates with a team of developers.
Responsibilities include software architecture design, implementation of high-quality software products using .NET technologies, and working within an Agile development environment.
The position involves planning, developing, modifying, and testing software components to create new products and enhance existing systems.
The Senior Software Developer will also assist in managing the production system to ensure quality and may provide guidance to other Software Developers.
Requirements:
Candidates must reside in the United States.
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field, or equivalent education and experience is required.
5-8 years of experience in software development is necessary.
Proficiency in Angular.js 2+, Typescript, Microsoft .Net Core 2.0+, C#, Visual Studio IDE, ORM, HTML5, CSS3, Micro Service Oriented Architecture using Web API is essential.
Strong skills in managing state in Angular 2+ Applications and SQL queries and stored procedures are required.
Proficiency in all components of the development process, including Code repository (GitHub), Code review, Coding standards, and Code deployment is necessary.
Understanding of OWASP Top 10 security vulnerabilities and secure coding practices is a must.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills are required.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential.
Ideal candidates will have experience with AWS Cloud Services, NGRX, Ionic, CI/CD automation cloud, and possess NET or AWS certification.
