Remote Senior Software Development Engineer

Description:

• Filevine is a fast-growing SaaS startup seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their Engineering team.
• The role involves applying knowledge of software architecture and development to build large features and innovations according to design specifications.
• Responsibilities include developing web-based applications using technologies such as .NET, C#, Node, AngularJS, React, Redis, MS SQL, ElasticSearch, and AWS.
• The engineer will perform day-to-day maintenance and support of existing applications, optimize software quality, innovate on software features, and troubleshoot issues.
• The position requires conducting detailed code reviews and mentoring junior engineers.
• The engineer will participate in an on-call rotation for escalated emergency support and communicate effectively with technical and management audiences.
• The role also involves analyzing and improving the scalability and performance of high-volume web applications.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of experience working as a software engineer.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, C#, JavaScript, and T-SQL is required.
• Proficiency with frameworks like Angular and React is necessary.
• Experience with source control systems such as GitHub is essential.
• Candidates should be able to work independently on projects or collaboratively with team members.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• In-depth knowledge of the entire application development life cycle is necessary.
• A B.S. or M.S. in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent certifications or work experience is required.
