Remote Senior Software Development Engineer

Description:

• Montu, Australia’s largest medical cannabis company, is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to contribute to their innovative cannabis ecosystem.
• The role involves implementing software components, replatforming work, and global expansion.
• You will work on both legacy systems and new projects, solving complex technical challenges and troubleshooting software defects.
• Collaboration with delivery managers, designers, and engineers is essential to bring projects to completion.
• Documentation of code, architecture, and project-related information is a key responsibility.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development, preferably in SaaS.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, NodeJS, GraphQL, and React is required.
• Ability to choose scalable and maintainable solutions, adaptability, and resourcefulness in finding minimal viable solutions.
• Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Professional experience with Node.js, AWS cloud ecosystems, and SQL databases.
• A keen interest and understanding of the medicinal cannabis industry is a strong plus.
