Description:
Jitterbit is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who will collaborate with an agile team to architect, implement, and continuously deliver testing tools and infrastructure for front-end and back-end components.
The role involves using technologies like Node, Webdriver.io, Mocha, and Typescript to run tests at scale and integrating tests into the CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Selenium Grid, and Docker.
The Senior SDET Engineer will work with various end-user endpoints such as MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, MS Dynamics CRM, Salesforce, NetSuite, and other technology endpoints like REST, SOAP, FTP, HTTP, and XML.
The position requires staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in automated testing, experimenting with new ideas, and contributing to building test software and reporting solutions to aid developers in delivering new features and products efficiently.
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written English language skills are a must.
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining automation infrastructure/framework.
Proficiency in converting manual tests into automation test suites efficiently with quality results.
Familiarity with frameworks and libraries like node, angular, webdriver.io, jasmine/mocha, selenium, etc.
Knowledge of languages such as Javascript, Typescript, Java, Python, etc.
Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and contributing as a quality engineer in an agile development environment.
Working knowledge of testing iPaaS/SaaS-based products or other cloud technologies.
Ability to utilize web APIs and technologies like SOAP, REST, JSON/XML to interface with databases, CRM/ERP systems, etc.
Proficiency in using tools like Postman, Jenkins, Docker, JMeter, JIRA, Github, etc., during test execution.
Comfortable reading and understanding vendor API documentation and learning to use 3rd Party vendor applications.
Experience working remotely with widely distributed teams and flexibility in work hours for calls and meetings.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, self-directed, and a process advocate.
