Description:
- Join a trailblazing tech startup, k-ID, specializing in privacy-centric tools for kids and teens online
- Lead application testing efforts to ensure high product quality for game studio partners and end-users
- Design and implement automated testing solutions for web applications
- Develop end-to-end test frameworks using modern web technologies
- Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment
- Implement performance and load testing strategies for high-traffic web platforms
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance testability and quality of web applications
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in web testing methodologies
- Evaluate and integrate emerging web technologies to enhance testing capabilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5 years of test engineering experience with 3 years focusing on web technologies
- Extensive experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python
- Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of web security testing principles
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their testing implications
- Preferred qualifications include API testing, knowledge of modern web technologies, game development technologies, and UX integration
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in a team, passion for gaming
