Shakudo is building the world’s first operating system for data and AI, offering an end-to-end OS with open-source components tailored to business needs.
The Senior Software Engineer will play a crucial role in building core platform features and creating production-level AI applications.

Participation in a regular on-call rotation for production systems is expected.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics is required.
A minimum of 5 years of hardcore software development experience is necessary.
Experience with Kubernetes, distributed computing, and infrastructure as code is essential.
True full-stack experience, including frontend development, is a strong plus.
A bias for action and an ownership mentality are important for this role.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment are required.
Experience working cross-functionally with product management is necessary.
Previous startup experience at a tech company is preferred.
