Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will be part of the Front End Practices team at SEEK, responsible for guiding internal practices for front-end engineering.
• They will design, develop, and deliver tools and platforms used by SEEK's front-end teams to create consistent user experiences.
• The role involves managing the team's roadmap in consultation with customers, defining ways of working, and embracing flexible working arrangements.
• The engineer will focus on either design systems or tooling for web applications, contributing to SEEK's technology strategy and building critical shared solutions.
• Qualifications for the role include technical skills in solution architectures, front-end development tools, TypeScript, NodeJS, and open-source projects, as well as professional skills in communication, problem-solving, and networking.

Requirements:

• Technical knowledge of solution and application architectures, with the ability to visualize complex systems.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining front-end development tools and frameworks.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, NodeJS, React, Babel, ESLint, Webpack, and Vite.
• Familiarity with open-source projects and mechanisms for compiling source code and static code analysis.
• Clear communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and readiness to take responsibility for challenges.
• Strong networking and consulting skills to drive knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
