Remote Senior Software Engineer

• Lone Wolf is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to construct web applications using React.js and PHP.
• The position is remote and based in Toronto, ON.
• The engineer will be part of the development team, focusing on delivering new and existing web applications for the real estate industry.
• Responsibilities include building and supporting APIs in PHP and contributing to front-end modules that utilize those APIs.
• The role involves creating efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
• The engineer will address complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
• Integration of various data storage solutions, including databases and key-value stores, is required.
• The engineer will identify and implement solutions to customer problems.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4+ years of experience with the PHP language.
• A strong knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming is required.
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance is necessary.
• Candidates should grasp fundamental design principles behind scalable applications.
• Experience with user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments is essential.
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into a single system is required.
• Candidates must be able to create database schemas that support business processes.
• Familiarity with SQL databases is necessary.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, is required.
• Prior experience with at least one major IaaS and/or PaaS technology, such as Azure or AWS, is essential.

• Frontend experience with React.js is required.
