Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Grow Therapy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team on a mission to support therapists and patients in accessing high-quality mental healthcare.
• The role involves working on various product areas such as the provider portal, marketplace, client experience, infrastructure, and operations using technologies like Flask/Python, React/TypeScript, and AWS.
• Responsibilities include developing a cost estimation and eligibility checking platform, enhancing note-taking experiences for providers, and optimizing search ranking and performance at scale.
• The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of engineering experience, full-stack web development skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, a product-focused mindset, leadership qualities, and a collaborative nature.
• Bonus points for experience with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Python, Flask, and involvement in interesting side projects.
• The position offers a salary range of $168,000 to $220,000 per year.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of engineering experience with a track record of building and scaling systems.
• Proficiency in full-stack web development, including working with REST APIs, web frameworks, HTML, CSS, JS, and at least one backend language.
• Experience in startups or side projects, demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to think through a user-centric lens and participate in product and design decisions.
• Strong leadership skills, persistence, and motivation to achieve goals.
• Collaborative nature, enjoying teamwork and being a supportive partner to colleagues.
