Remote Senior Software Engineer 1 (Latin America)

Description:

• Beyond is seeking a Senior Software Engineer 1 to join their remote team in Latin America.
• The role involves building the next evolution of their SaaS-based product and working on new products.
• The position requires excellent coding and communication skills as the team operates completely remotely.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to craft and deliver on OKRs.
• The engineer will drive large projects autonomously, assess and communicate progress, and iterate on solutions.
• The role also involves recommending architectural solutions and understanding trade-offs related to time to market, quality, security, and resources.
• Supporting and maintaining the existing code baseline and products is a key responsibility.
• The engineer will exercise and improve Beyond’s engineering practices, including refactoring, code reviews, and CI/CD.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience building services in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
• Expertise in Python is required for this position.
• Experience with Django and Postgres is preferred.
• A predisposition for a fast-paced environment focused on delivering customer value while learning and experimenting is essential.
