Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for driving major projects to enhance end-to-end capabilities for users while developing scalable, secure, and maintainable production systems.
• The role involves working across the entire stack to build highly scalable distributed solutions that have a positive impact on users and the business.
• Responsibilities include developing new features and infrastructure, driving new projects from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintaining high standards for code quality, security, and application design.
• The Senior Software Engineer will work with agile development methodologies, participate in on-call rotations, and create run-books, metrics, and dashboards.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced SaaS or similar business environment.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Engineer.
• Expertise in front-end technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS3, HTML5, and React.
• Experience with server-side Java software development and proficiency in SQL and RDBMS, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in distributed systems and effectively communicate within the team and across the organization.

Benefits:

• Salary range of $160,000 - $175,000 per year, with the final offer based on qualifications, education, experience, skills, and location.
