Vendavo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru, IN, with the option for remote work.
The role involves working with technologies such as Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Micronaut, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Git, and React.
The engineer will influence the architecture of Vendavo products and embrace a DevOps culture.
Responsibilities include designing and developing new features and enhancements, selecting the best tools for the job, and managing all aspects of the product from implementation to operations.
The position requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and business analysts, to gather requirements and ensure successful integration outcomes.
The engineer will develop, test, and document integration workflows, interfaces, and APIs, implementing data transformation and synchronization mechanisms.
Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software engineering is essential.

Requirements:

Candidates must be enthusiastic about working with multiple technologies and willing to learn and work independently.
Experience with complex web applications and JVM-based languages, particularly Java and preferably Kotlin, is required.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are necessary, with the ability to identify and address issues promptly and effectively.
The candidate must be a positive team player who fits well within the team environment.
Fluency in English and the ability to communicate in an international setting are mandatory.
Experience with microservice-oriented architectures, DevOps, continuous delivery, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS), Kubernetes, Terraform, web front-end skills (e.g., React), JavaScript (NodeJS), and Python is beneficial.
