SugarCRM is seeking a highly motivated, full-time UI Software Engineer to create exceptional front-end experiences for customers.
The role involves developing forward-facing applications using React, Bootstrap, D3, and proprietary libraries, along with pure CSS and JavaScript.
As a key member of a small team, the engineer will design, test, deploy, and maintain SugarCRM's front-end experience.
The engineering team values communication and collaboration, emphasizing automated testing and a Scrum-based development methodology.
Responsibilities include implementing responsive web interfaces for both desktop and mobile browsers, architecting efficient and scalable front-end systems, designing interactive real-time visualizations, and collaborating with Product Management to deliver user-facing products.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience with HTML/CSS, including layout, specificity, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
A minimum of 5+ years of JavaScript experience is required, with knowledge of asynchronous programming, closures, and types; experience with React, Angular, or a modern framework is a bonus.
Applicants should have 5+ years of experience optimizing front-end performance for desktop and mobile browsers.
A minimum of 2+ years of data visualization experience is necessary, with a preference for experience using D3.
A BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
