Description:

• Our client, an innovative company in the AI space, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build their platform for monitoring image and likeness online.
• The role involves developing solutions for scraping major social media platforms, ingesting content, integrating classifiers, and rendering content for human review.
• Responsibilities include leading product development, building and maintaining content systems, implementing account management functionalities, collaborating with third-party providers, and providing technical leadership.
• The ideal candidate will work closely with the interim CTO, mentor junior engineers, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to best practices within the engineering team.

Requirements:

• 7 to 10 years of software engineering experience at reputable companies.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with web scraping and content ingestion from platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
• Strong skills in designing and architecting moderately complex systems.
• Ability to drive projects independently with minimal guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven track record of providing technical leadership, mentorship, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
