As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will modernize the technology stack and foster a data-driven culture.
Your responsibilities include developing and optimizing backend systems using MySQL and Python, collaborating with web development teams, and implementing data engineering concepts.
This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be located in Argentina, Brazil, or Colombia.
The role is a long-term Independent Contractor position.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of enterprise-level experience coding in Python and building Python-based web applications.
A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience working with MySQL or other SQL databases is necessary.
Candidates should have 3+ years of hands-on experience in web development, specifically in Python backend development.
Experience with building and consuming APIs for at least 3 years is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
