Description:

Menlo Security is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Indian Web Isolation team.
The role involves technical leadership in extending and supporting remote browser technology on desktop and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities include working on areas such as Chromium internals, networking, video/audio, advanced HTML5 features, containerization, load balancing, scaling, and cost-saving, all with a strong security focus.
The team is experienced and promotes a strong design and code review culture.
Candidates with deep systems-level experience in non-browser technology areas are encouraged to apply.
The tech lead role may evolve into a formal management position as the team expands.

Candidates must possess excellent C++ skills.
Strong knowledge of Python and JavaScript is required.
A solid understanding of networking fundamentals is essential.
Systems-level experience with Linux is necessary.
The ability to write clean, concise, and maintainable code is expected.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Candidates should be proactive, ambitious, and have a strong ability to learn new things.
Highly organized individuals with critical attention to detail and documentation are preferred.
A BSc or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field is mandatory.
Highly desirable qualifications include experience with implementing and maintaining features in Chromium or other browser platforms, strong knowledge of HTTP security, and familiarity with Tornado, haproxy, Amazon AWS, Google GCP, WebGL, WebRTC, and Redis.
