Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will be part of the Product Analytics Core team at Contentsquare, focusing on enhancing the Heap web application and Heap.js snippet to provide product analytics capabilities to a diverse range of customers.
• Responsibilities include owning the heap.js snippet for capturing events client-side, developing app surfaces to govern captured data, and creating app surfaces for querying and analyzing captured data.
• The role involves collaborating with technical stakeholders, participating in design and development, and ensuring technical surfaces meet the company's scale and cross-sell opportunities.
• The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with Product Managers and Designers throughout the product development lifecycle and contribute to growing other developers on the team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in developing large frontend projects using a modern component-based Javascript framework.
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, particularly on a Node.js/Typescript stack.
• Collaborative and intellectually curious approach to software development, with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, as well as mentoring or leading an engineering team.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, MVP mindset, and a desire to work in a respectful, transparent, and collaborative environment.
• Willingness to learn new things and adapt persistently.
