Description:

• Portoro is a property management company specializing in premium vacation rental homes in top-tier leisure destinations.
• The Product and Engineering Team at Portoro is responsible for developing portals for guests, owners, and operations staff, as well as internal projects.
• The team uses top-notch tech stacks including TypeScript, NestJS, React, NextJS, and AWS managed services.
• The Senior Software Engineer will work in a highly collaborative, remote environment, contributing to both frontend and backend projects.
• Responsibilities include coding new products, participating in engineering architecture discussions, monitoring and fixing issues, collaborating with teammates, and actively participating in code reviews.
• The role involves defining technical improvements, bug fixing, and ensuring a fun coding environment.

Requirements:

• Passion for crafting reliable, maintainable code and delivering excellent user experiences.
• Highly collaborative with strong communication skills for technical discussions and code reviews.
• 4+ years of experience with TypeScript + React stacks for frontend (experience with MaterialUI is a plus).
• 4+ years of experience with TypeScript + backend stacks for backend (experience with NestJS is a plus).
