Description:

  • Triptease is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Slovenia (Remote).
  • The company is a disruptive force in the online travel tech space, empowering hotels to compete with Online Travel Agents.
  • The successful candidate will work in a small squad responsible for building, growing, and maintaining different parts of the Triptease stack.
  • The team practices trunk-based development, continuous delivery, and pair programming.
  • The tech stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, Mongo, Google Cloud Run/Kubernetes, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.
  • The role involves collaborating with product managers, writing tests, and developing solutions from client-side to server-side.
  • Experience with deployment pipelines, continuous delivery on cloud platforms, and a solid understanding of HTTP is required.
  • Bonus points for entrepreneurial experience, working in cross-functional teams, and proficiency in multiple programming languages.

Requirements:

  • Collaborative, open-minded, and eager to develop skills.
  • Comfortable with pair programming and experienced in building high availability systems.
  • Takes pride in producing concise, well-commented code and excels in refactoring techniques.
  • Sees writing tests as integral to the development process and builds modular, functional applications.
  • Skilled in developing solutions from client-side to server-side and passionate about delivery pipelines and monitoring tools.
  • Customer-centric, with a solid understanding of HTTP and test-driven design.
  • Experience with deployment pipelines, continuous delivery on cloud platforms, and using tests to drive application design.
