Description:
- Eventbrite is seeking Senior Software Engineers to join their development teams in Spain.
- The role involves building scalable, robust, and secure platforms and user interfaces.
- The position requires solving challenging problems and contributing to Eventbrite Engineering’s culture of technical excellence, inclusivity, and mentorship.
- The tech stack includes Python, Django, MySQL, React, Redux, and AWS.
- The company is transitioning to a new stack with technologies like Kotlin, DynamoDB, Lambdas, gRPC, and Step Functions.
- The ideal candidate should have a diverse skill set in both frontend and backend development.
- Collaboration with cross-functional partners from design, product, and data functions is essential.
- Communication skills, mentorship abilities, and proficiency in English are required.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in building applications to scale.
- Efficient and practical programming skills.
- Record of designing and producing dependable code.
- Ability to work on a highly visible product and make significant contributions to business outcomes.
- Focus on maintainable and well-tested code with a holistic approach to quality.
- Results-driven self-starter with great communication skills.
- Track record of collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Proficiency in English.
- Backend skillset: Programming languages like Python, Java, Kotlin, etc., web frameworks like Django, Symphony, SQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Frontend skillset: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, UI frameworks like Angular, React, Redux, cross-browser compatibility, build chain tools, visual design techniques, familiarity with server-side frameworks, container environments, Typescript, testing tools, and continuous integration tools.
