Remote Senior Software Engineer (314)

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will work with the development team on a financial analytical system, optimizing and creating end-to-end processes, and suggesting new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Responsibilities include working with Python (Flask) for well-constructed packages, scaling out Python compute workloads using Dask, contributing to the product vision, adding new features, collaborating with other teams, and supporting system architecture.

Requirements:

• Advanced/fluent English skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Hands-on Python development experience, including designing, developing, and deploying REST APIs.
• Experience with UI/UX frameworks like Django, Flask, Dash, and ReactJS.
• Solid understanding of Data Processing, including ETL and ELT data pipelines.
• Proficiency in writing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) and experience in designing, developing, and deploying R.
• Nice to have skills include front-end development using Typescript, React, or Next, building docker images, deploying RESTful services, maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, understanding Distributed and Event-based systems, familiarity with HTTP sessions, JWT, Apache Airflow, and DAG based scheduling.
• Non-technical skills required are good communication, flexibility, problem-solving, collaborative teamwork, and eagerness to learn and improve technical skills.
