Description:

  • SevenRooms is hiring a remote Senior Software Engineer to engineer highly performant, mission-critical systems designed for agile development and rapid scaling.
  • The role involves partnering with other engineers, product managers, and designers to create real solutions that empower SevenRooms for growth.
  • The candidate will join a team of over 70 engineering professionals and report directly to the VP of Engineering.
  • The 7R Technology organization focuses on building products that help restaurants create magical experiences every day.

  • Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software with a strong focus on customer-facing features.
  • The candidate will be the technical owner of features from design to implementation and ongoing support.
  • The role requires managing individual project priorities, deadlines, code quality, and deliverables, as well as participating in occasional on-call duties.

Requirements:

  • A BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • The candidate must have experience developing web applications.
  • Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and software design is necessary.
  • A minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience is required.
